  These are new, so have only plugged the system in to test it out. Initial impression & info from company:
  
  1. nice rich sound for what they are. impressed so far!
  
  2. I hooked system up to a Bose Wave Radio (an older Wave that has RCA jacks).
  
  3. The company, C2G bought out the former company ( AudioUnlimited), so C2G is still learning all the ins & outs but very knowledgeable when I called because the owner's manual says nothing about charging the speakers..
  
  Here's charging info:
  
  The batteries are lead-acid, nickel-cad & are sealed in the speakers, so they have a memory. And they cannot be replaced! We must follow these instructions to keep them alive!
  Always charge the speakers overnight (8-12 hours) but DO NOT RECHARGE UNTIL THE SPEAKERS GO TOTALLY DEAD!
  
  Reason: C2G told me that if you charge them before they go dead, the battery memory will only remember the time left before you last charged them..So if they have a 10 hour memory when fully charged, and you play them for 5 hours & then charge them, they will only remember the 5 hours you last charged them for & will only charge for 5 hrs the next time, even if fully dead. The best way to preserve the life is to let them run out totally before charging. (too bad this info is still uncorrected in the manual! It's not even online at this point)
  
  There is no charge indicator so you won't know how long to charge them or when they are charged, so this is another reason to just let them go dead & charge overnite.
  
  Tip: C2G said the speakers will begin to sound crackly when they are about to die. I plan on lowering the volume when they crackle & let them die, and then I'll charge overnite.

  p.s. The manual also states the speakers are "water resistant to splash & slight rain" SO they need to go under cover during drenching rain/extreme conditions.
