I bought this without ever trying which was a gamble, but being familiar with Toshiba I trusted it on its name. I was definitely NOT disappointed! With four gigs of ram (upgradable to eight) and 64bit processing, it outperforms my desktop. While the keys are shiny, they are not cheap, and the screen has a great picture. The Pentium T3400 processor would not be my first choice, nor would the on-board graphics, but it all just works great together! Unlike the Satellite L305D I use at work, the streaming video and speed is much better (as well as the speakers). At around $600, I would recommend this to anyone who wants an excellent laptop made to last you into the future, without breaking your bank!

I have owned this unit for over two years and what we have here is one of the best combo CD,DVD,and a superb SACD player. Audiophile quality through and through! Superb video chips and the Faroudja decoding add up to superb video playback. Throw in the SACD capability and you are in for an amazing audio performance. Just to switch between normal cd and SACD reveals the amazing listening performance of a SACD disk.

All in all one of the best players for a top of the line systems, that is if you can find one.

First off, please disregard the 1-star rating given by a previous "reviewer". It was based on their complete lack of the ability to read the specs of a product.

So far, right out of the box, I'm very happy. This monitor has fantastic resolution for the price. The images are sharp and bright, the colors are rich, and the blacks are - well - black.

My only complaint: It has a connection for both VGA and DVI cables, but a DVI cable is not included with the monitor. The (4 year old) video card that I have only has a DVI connection. Luckily I have the DVI cable from the monitor I got this one to replace and it works fine. My recommendation: Get a DVI cable.

Hensel Gold Toned Quartz Flash Tube for the EH Pro Mini 1200P Head (#3604) Review

These flash tubes are fantastic. The color rendition for these guys are very faithful when shooting with film and instant film. You really can't ask for anything more. The other thing is they last forever. I have some Hensel Porty Flashtubes from the turn of the century (2000) and they're still working away with well over 20,000 thousand flashes a year.

The only reason I've ever had to buy these was when the tubes were physically crushed on two occasions. The baggage handler had destroyed one tube somehow in my well padded pelican during a trip. The second time was when an assistant was new with boom lighting allowed a bare bulb crash onto the floor on top of a 13' boom.

Keep a spare incase you break one, but other than that, you'll never (almost) need a new one.
