I needed at least four matching boom stands with wired mics for a presentation, so I found this six unit set from Griffin. I had never heard of Griffin before so I hoped they would be good enough to get me through this one event, but as it turns out, they are a very high quality and I plan on using them for a long, long time! The stands went together well and are very nicely adjustable, the mics sounded great for vocal use, (I wasn't mic'ing any instruments but they'd probably work well for that too). I wanted a carry bag for them, so I searched for tripod bags and found a 36" one that was affordable... however, it only holds four stands & booms with the booms not attached, but since I only needed four for this event, it worked. I'll be searching for a slightly larger carry bag to house all six. Definitely worth the price! :)
