I acquired this sub for a much lower price. It is an ok sub, but doesn't output the stated 400 rms. I have the Polk SW505 and the BIC F12, and they blow this sub out of the water. With some adjustments it does fill some spots in my basement that lacked strong bass. It goes deep 20hz, but I had to turn up the volume on the sub more than twice as loud to equal the output of the other two. It's not bad, but it doesn't have a wow factor either. I think it would do nice for a small home theater or to supplement more powerful subs.
