Build quality on this is great. everything is metal and feels really sturdy. when you get it, just remember to tighten down the screws that were already installed for you.
Follow Focus:
I would honestly expect to pay upwards of $200 just for the quality of this follow focus. The kit comes with 2 gear rings,
but the follow focus is a standard 0.8 pitch gear so you can pick up more gear rings if you need them.
One this I want to let people know about with the follow focus is that if you are planning to use a battery grip with your
camera note that you will need to get a lens gear that holds itself away from the lens, you will pay a bit more for it but Red
Rock makes some that are great quality, just don't spend your hard earned money on their actual follow focus.
Shoulder Pad:
Not much to say about this other than it is only held onto the rails by friction which isn't bad considering most of the
pressure on the pad should be going straight down, just keep it in mind you cannot lift the rig by the shoulder pad.
Handles:
The handles actually feel sturdier than I was expecting. (nothing wrong with a nice surprise.)
Camera Mount:
The camera mount does leave a little to be desired, but for the over all price I wasn't expecting much in this department.
The mount does have some vertical adjustment to it which is nice in case you have a small camera that needs to be up a little
higher to get things to line up.
