I stress-tested this product by purchasing 1,000 ft of CAT5e stranded UTP cable and connecting both ends using RJ-11 connectors and just one pair of copper conductor. Although the manufacturer recommends solid copper telephone wires, I thought I'd give it a shot anyways. The results were impressive.
