I have scanned about 1,000 35 mm slides without major problems. The quality of the scanned images is good. The bundled software works well. The instruction manual is poorly written, I had to experiment a lot to find the options I need. I wish the scanner had dust and scratch correction, I have to correct each image in Photoshop. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "PrimeFilm PF3610AFL 18-Megapixel Photo Film and Slides Scanner" are high quality item.
