This will work very well on Kowa scopes. If you are using other scope you may find the angle for mounting the camera a little off. I use a small shim to mount it to my Swarovski scope. This is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. It will ballance the scope and camera to the tripod. It is easy to adjust the ballance for shooting high and low shots. You can also reballance for changing cameras very easy. I really like this mount system.
