I selected this product by price and function. It will work fine on a fixed focal length lens but it wont work at all on my kit lenses. Auto focus is, for the most part, gone. Dose not botheer me,
because I grew up in the film days. I have used this "doubler", as we called them in the past, many times. It functions just fine with my Nikon D3000 and 60mm macro lens. Do your homework and pair it with the right "PRIME" lens. That way you wont end up with a paper weight.
