Great sounding microphone. This is my first SM86 model, but we own more than 10 Shure SLX series wireless mics. They are made for use. So much better than our old Sennheiser models. Quick setup for multi-mic use with their scan feature. Make sure you buy the fast recharge AA batteries for these - batteries charge in 15 min and will run entire event without issue.

Great mic for best man speech as it has bigger pickup pattern compared to the super-cardioid model.
