I am new to the guitar and I was struggling to learn some of the more complex chords on my standard size Dreadnought acoustic, so I wanted something small that would better suit my body and my small hands. I played both the Baby Taylor and the Little Martin in the local music store, which both sounded good, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much money on an instrument I wasn't sure I'd love playing.

Then I found this Luna Safari Tattoo perusing the internet and I LOVED the look of this guitar - I thought it was so unique with its tattoo design and it's dark mahogany body. I had a hard time finding any good videos demonstrating the sound of this guitar and none of the local shops had any to test out, but I decided to take the risk and buy sight unseen and I am very pleased with my purchase!

The price on Amazon was the lowest of anywhere I found, the packaging and shipping was top notch, and the craftsmanship of the guitar was great - no blemishes, smooth finish and frets, nice low action and high quality tuners. It also has two strap buttons, so you don't have to tie your strap to your headstock, which is a nice touch. This is a small guitar, so it doesn't have the same sound as a traditional solid wood, full sized acoustic, but after I changed the strings (put on a set of Martin Marquis Silk and Steel), I got a really nice warm, full bodied sound. You can register your product with Luna and get the warranty as well as some free lessons via their website (their website is also GREAT for getting a feel for the size of this guitar in comparison to other traditional sizes).

All in all, if you're looking for a quality small (but not toy!) guitar that is unique and has a great sound, for an unbeatable price, this is for you! It's such a great size I barely put it down - constantly curled up on the couch playing!
