Feather Touch FTM-C8 Microfocuser upgrade Review

The focuser works smoothly, the brass part is the fine focuser, while the black is for coarse focus. Unfortunately, on my old orange tube C8, I hogged out the bolt holes for the telescope's smaller bolt pattern (~1.25" > 1.1") and ground out a bit of the black cylinder to accomodate the head of the socket head bolt provided. Another method to adapt this to the old C8 would have been to drill and tap the larger bolt circle into the telescope...I did not want to play with that.
