I believe the 4-dot to be the best of the UltraDots. It produces a wider choice of dot sizes - 4,8,12, and 16 whereas the MatchDot is 2,4,6, and 8. I could never use the 2 so the spectrum is much more limited. This sight is sturdy, clear picture, and retains its setting.

Edit: I just realized that this item was NOT the 4-Dot as I thought and was returned for refund so that I might buy the 4-Dot.
