As this is the only 1080 cheap remote camera available (since Bushnell discontinued its model), we had to try it. The unit itself seems poorly built--the bottom panel is just waiting to be torn off. The camera can only be programmed with software which comes on the enclosed CD--but of course there was no CD in the box. So we tested it in whatever mode it came in--we couldn't even set the clock. Ends up, it comes in a mode that shoots a 10 s video every minute. Not what we wanted, but the trigger performed well. We had a second trail camera on site and the LtlAcorn seemed to capture every movement. The video files are large, but that's where the 1080 characteristics stop. The image quality was disappointingly poor. Its not the size of the file, so perhaps its the sensor or the lens...but whatever it is, it does not perform like the old Bushnells. If you've never seen Bushnell quality, you'll probably like this camera (and you get a CD to program it). But if you have, you'll be like me, and send it back to invest elsewhere.
