Product Description

The JVC AV20121 is an all-white TV set with a 20-inch screen. It has a full square, dark-tinted picture tube for enhanced picture quality. A rear audio-video input jack facilitates easy hookup of any video source, including video games. A TV/VCR switch allows for convenient operation between the TV and its video input.

The AV20121 has MTS stereo with dbx and second audio program (SAP). There is an on/off option for the speakers in the TV menu. A front- mounted headphone jack adds convenience and privacy to your viewing. The set has one variable audio output jack. A universal remote is included and is preprogrammed with the codes to control 122 brands of VCRs and 81 brands of cable boxes. The Hyper Scan feature offers speedy channel surfing at five channels per second. Channel surfers will also appreciate the Return+ function, which lets you return to a favored station even after sequentially scanning the channels.

There is a trilingual option of English, French, or Spanish for the onscreen display. The JVC AV20121 includes XDS auto clock set. The multifunction timer can turn the television on and off to create the illusion that you are at home when you're not. It also works as an alarm clock to wake you up, and has a sleep timer to turn itself off after you fall asleep.

We were looking for a white television for our kitchen / breakfast area. There aren't many white televisions out there bigger than 13" it seems. Then we found this JVC model and it was perfect and very reasonably priced.We bought it to replace a really old not cable-ready 13" white TV and this new JVC model is barely any wider because the old TV had the speaker and button controls on the front to the right of the screen and the JVC has relatively thin edges to the left and right of the screen with minor controls at the bottom between the aesthetically nice left and right stereo speakers.The picture quality is excellent with nice deep black blacks, good color, and good detail.We have this television on one of those 'swing out' arms attached to a stud in the wall, and it works great. The TV is not too large or heavy, yet the screen is a good size. Also, a really nice touch, they made the power cord white as well, so it doesn't look out of place as it goes from the TV to the outlet near the mount arm.I guess you could say we really like this TV!
