These are the culmination of all the improvements over the last years of Millett's 30mm target and varmint scopes, to give the shooter the most value for the money. A distinctive new look, with large, easy-to-use turret and side focus knobs add to the style of these scopes. Millett's proprietary Gimble Pivot increases accuracy and assures intertube alignment. This year we have also added the Fine Crosshair and 1/8-MOA dot reticle for the target shooter and long-range varmint hunter. This is a full weight, full feature, excellent lens, clear as a bell, scope.

Light transmission is extremely good for 10X, as is the field of view, and the utility of the mil-dots on the illuminated reticule.

I was hesitant to pay this much, but after going to a sports store and actually looking through the competition's scopes, there was
little decision left to be made. It always boils down to getting what you pay for.

The left side range focus adjustment is absolutely perfect. It is so much more handy than having to reach all the way to the front of the
scope and adjust for range. With the side adjustment, you can keep your eye on the target, focus in, and with a quick glance, see the range
to the target, and calculate mil-dot holdover/holdunder. Once the eyepiece and reticle have been dialed in...you are done with them.

When you spot your quarry, or target, one simple adjustment of the left side Objective focus knob is all you need to do.

You can focus down to 10 meters, 30 feet, out to infinity. That's excellent.

The mil-dots are just the right petite size for estimating trajectory and adjusting for wind at any range. The knobs are sturdy, well defined clicks,
and don't move once adjusted. The focus knob does not need an accessory wheel to turn. It is firm, but manageable. It fits thumb and forefinger readily.

Once turned on, the illuminated reticle adjusts down to near non-existent. Great for dawn and dusk shots. If you spotlight varmints at night, it can be turned up, as needed.

It comes with a sunshade. It comes with lens caps, and a cloth-elastic full scope cover, which I prefer to use.
