I purchased this backpack by mistake when intending to order the medium tenba shootout backpack. However, after noticing my error I decided to wait and see how this daypack would meet my needs.
When it arrived I was shocked to see how much space there was for camera gear; more than enough for my 2 D-SLRs and 6 lenses. Also, a (the) great advantage is that you have additional space for some clothing/lunch items which you do not have with the other shootout backpacks. I always carry a light jacket and an extra t-shirt with me when hiking. Thus, I decided of course to go with the daypack. Have used it several times by now and can tell you it is extremely comfortable and robust. It has no space for a laptop. However, I don't carry a laptop with me when hiking. If you are primarely hiking and want your photogear to carry with you to always be ready for nice shots, this dayback is for you. If you are primarily going out for photographing and just need a hike to get to your spots, buy something else.
One tip: On my first travel I used the dayback with a jacket fastened to the bottom loops and always placed it upright with the jacket mounted underneath. This could rip off the gum at the loops because of the heavy weight with full gear inside the backback. I was not happy about that but Amazon was extremely kind to replace the backpack. Be aware to not mount anything beneath when placing it upright!
And a last tip: I always drink a lot when hiking. The tenba bottle caddies are extremely convenient when attached so make sure to order one (or two) when ordering the backpack (not included).

Sony D-NS921F Atrac3/MP3 CD Sports Walkman Review

I have read some silly things on the other reviews....
First of all, this is also a real mp3 cd player... you are not forced to use Sonic Stage with all your files. Personally I made several MP3 cds with all my mp3s (5 gigs), and some cds using Sonic Stage: I can store 20 hours of music in a single 700 mb cd-rw using 64kbs atrac 3 plus... amazing!
The sound is really acceptable: far better than mp3s or wmas at 64kbs... I prefer to have a lot of music in a portable device... even if sound quality is not totally awesome. If I want GOOD sound quality I'd rather stay at home and use my hi-fi ;)
Another thing: no chirps or birdies in my unit :)

I put my 60 inch plasma on top of it and all HT-equipment (receiver, bd-player and HD DVR on lower shelf). Take a look to dimensions [...] and make sure your equipment fits especially if you have big receiver - mine one has less than half a inch clearance on top of the unit.

I bought this unit primarily to use as a fax machine. Most of the faxes that I receive include customers' credit card details. This makes a thermal-transfer fax machine like the inexpensive Brother, Panasonic, and Sharp units unsuitable because they leave the customers' credit card details in negative form on the film. Inkjet faxes are the next-least-expensive option.This HP Officejet 4110 surprised me with its combination of features and low price. It's only slightly more expensive than a dedicated black and white inkjet fax machine, and you get color printing, color faxing, color scanning, color copying, and the 33.6 kbps fax speed. If you absolutely have to have a telephone handset on your fax machine, then maybe one of the dedicated black and white units is for you, but otherwise, there's not much reason to buy cheaper.So far I have been impressed with this unit. The installation was painless. It comes with a poster-sized installation flowchart, and everything worked as it should. You install the software first, then hook up the Officejet 4110 and power it on second. You install the ink cartridges through an access door on the right side of the unit. The software installer pauses while waiting for you to power up the unit and align the print head, then carries on once it detects that you've done so.The Officejet 4110 knocks off printing chores quickly, and print quality on plain paper is quite high. In fact, the unit generates higher-quality output at a faster pace than my Canon S800 printer, which is a bit embarassing for the Canon because it cost twice as much. (I imagine than the 6-color Canon would outperform the 4-color HP when printing color photos, though.)The included software is reasonably complete. You can access all of the Officejet 4110's functions from the "Director" program. Most of the features of the unit are also accessible from the front panel, but the Director provides a better user interface as well as better integration with your PC. A very convenient feature provided by the Director is the ability to generate a cover sheet for a set of pages that are loaded in the unit's automatic document feeder (ADF). The Director software will scan in all of the pages, add the cover sheet, and then fax them out. While faxing, the Director displays a thumbnail page that fills in as each page is being sent, an unnecessary but interesting and thoughtful feature. The Director can also store incoming faxes and forward them to another number.While I bought the Officejet 4110 as a fax machine, I've found myself enjoying its other features, which are all well-executed and nicely integrated. For the price, I would have been satisfied with a lot less, so I have to say that Hewlett Packard has really hit this one over the fence. its fairly light for a 1000w power supply unit, its fully modular so you can get rid of un-needed cables, came with all the cables to do a 4 way SLI or crossfire, mobo power cable was long enough to go from the bottom of my tower, behind my mobo, all the way to the top front of it, fan is very quiet and the exhaust fan gets rid of most of the heat, no thermal soak to my graphics cards... I purchased this item on amazon b/c newegg had none available, it was a little more expensive, but the next day shipping I got was made it cheaper and very much worthwhile
