I did not buy from Amazon, bought elsewhere for 1/2 the list price here.

However, after a week, I am very happy with the device. I have not had to reboot the KVM, not had to reboot a PC to get it to respond, nada for issues. I have used many KVM's, from IP based to large, 256 device managed units. So far, I am very happy.

I have 3 PC's hooked up, installation was a snap. The only fault I could mention it that the device shipped with the USB cables, but not the HDMI ones. I am using the HDMI ver 1.4 cables, the ones that support Ethernet (not using the ether though).

I am using 6 foot USB and HDMI cables. I don't have the expensive, gold plated cables, just the cheapo basic ones. I have all GeForce video cards, but I am sure this will not factor into a problem with compatibility. My monitor is a Visio MV420 42".

I was hesitant before my purchase, not knowing the brand, and for the price. If all the units ship like the one I received, there will be many happy customers.

Nady SPM-4250 Stereo Powered Mixers Review

I bought this Nady SPM-4250 mixer for small venue gigs. It drives two 4 ohm speakers to a good volume with no noticeable distortion using stringed instruments and vocals as the source. The whisper of the fan can be heard near the mixer, but is not objectionable to me. All in all, I would give the mixer five stars by itself; but considering what I found after it arrived on my doorstep, I must knock my review down a star.

The first thing I noticed, upon opening the shipment, was that the serial number on the box did not match the serial number on the mixer. The second thing I noticed was a missing manual. There was a notice in an enclosed unsealed plastic bag that stated I should read the included instruction manual before operating the mixer. Since my search turned up no manual anywhere, I downloaded a manual from the Internet, and continued unpacking. The third thing I noticed was that, upon powering up the mixer for the first time, it stunk like it had been used in a south-side beer joint. In my better than 50 years of purchasing new equipment and gizmos, I'm quite familiar with the various fragrances and odors that new electronic gear can emit. However, for brand new gear, this stale-beer and cigarette smoke smell is a new one to me...and I might add, a bit suspicious. However, the odor was apparent to me only before using it for the first gig. It seems to smell like all my other gear now...poor thing.

To sum up: This mixer is everything I expected it to be...so far. It's a nice size and weight; the controls are intuitive enough to use without a manual and do what they are supposed to do; it has power enough to fill a reasonable sized room (or beer joint!) with music; and finally, this Nady SPM-4250 has features enough to do the job where my Yamaha EMX-5000 is overkill. I'm happy with it. What else can I say?

Update: I have had this phone less than a month and the ringer quit working...grrr. For the price I paid for this phone it shouldn't be doing this SO soon!! The phone hasn't left the end table in my living room so it's not like I'm the one who broke it, it just stopped ringing one day.

I only gave this 4 stars because the base of the phone is actually VERY much darker brown than what is depicted in the photo. If it were any darker brown it would be black. I was expecting a slightly lighter colored base.

Other than that, the phone is great. It's well built, well refurbished, and works just as if it were new. Great, near perfect condition considering it IS an authentic vintage phone.

The seller shipped it very quickly and it arrived in a matter of a few days, and it was very well packed (double boxed with lots of styrofoam peanuts).

It looks great with my antique repro living room furniture.

OMAX 40X-1600X Binocualr Lab Compound Microscope with Double Layer Mechanical Stage Review

I picked up this scope for hobby use. Was pleased with the heft of it,and quite surprised by the size of some components.(the 100x objective is nearly as large as an old spark plug)I would have been pleased to see fewer plastic components(knobs and such)but have read online that most of the internal parts are metal,so at least there's that. The focus is smooth, as is the mechanical stage and the condenser lens.
The few slides I made looked excellent under 40,100,and 400x(cheek scrape dyed with food color and orange mold)Didn't try the 1000x oil because i had no lens paper to clean up with.Probably will soon,tho.
