Product Description

In this Dynamic Microphone Package, you will receive the following (24) items: (6) Telescoping mic boom stands (6) Microphone clips (6) XLR microphone cables & (6) Unidirectional dynamic vocal microphones. Stable, tough, and affordable, the telescoping microphone stand extends up and over in order to provide a microphone close to the performer with the straight bar distanced away making it ideal for performers. This tripod microphone boom stand features three legs that retract and fold up to a neat package allowing for ultimate portability, steel tubing construction, and one microphone clip is included with every tripod microphone stand. The microphone XLR cable measures twenty (20) feet long and has a XLR male connector on one end and a XLR female connector on the other end. Every mic XLR cable features a 12-strand copper conductor, and all of the XLR mic cables' copper wiring is oxygen-free 20 AWG (American Wire Gauge). Unlike other cheaper microphone XLR cables, this 20 gauge wire signifies that every cable is considered professional grade. These hand-held cardioid vocal dynamic microphones are designed for ultimate stage performance due to their live, full-range response; punchy bass; unidirectional, cardioid design allowing for sound sensitivity from one direction only as well as their allowance for high gain before feedback (GBF).

Microphone Boom Stand with Cardioid Dynamic Mic XLR Cables Telescoping Tripod 6 Pack Griffin Review

I needed at least four matching boom stands with wired mics for a presentation, so I found this six unit set from Griffin. I had never heard of Griffin before so I hoped they would be good enough to get me through this one event, but as it turns out, they are a very high quality and I plan on using them for a long, long time! The stands went together well and are very nicely adjustable, the mics sounded great for vocal use, (I wasn't mic'ing any instruments but they'd probably work well for that too). I wanted a carry bag for them, so I searched for tripod bags and found a 36" one that was affordable... however, it only holds four stands & booms with the booms not attached, but since I only needed four for this event, it worked. I'll be searching for a slightly larger carry bag to house all six. Definitely worth the price! :)

Toshiba SD-5109 Twin-Tray 2-Disc DVD Player Review

Once again, I had to get a new toy. Owning a Digital TV, I had previously researched getting this DVD player but opted for the Panasonic A-120 at first (because I got it for 99$). After a few months, I sent the A-120 to my Sony TV set and decided to go ahead and make the plunge for this player for my Digital set. I must say that it makes a WONDERFUL difference compared to any other recorded medium I have had hooked up to my set.PICTURE: The picture is outstanding. My A-120 looked great with the interlaced component outs (possibly because I have a Panasonic DTV), but the Toshiba's progressive scan picture is a notch clearer. There are, of course, no scan lines present and the colours are vibrant and much more stunning than I had expected. I tried popping in "The Matrix" and "The Fifth Element" and was rewarded with incredible clarity. It is difficult to describe how great it looks (even more so if you have not moved up to DVD yet). It still cannot fix bad DVD transfers...SOUND: One would think that the sound should be equal to video on a higher-end product such as this. Too many times, the product does not deliver. However, this is not the case here. The SD5109 produces just as brilliant sound to compliment the video. A very nice feature is the HDCD decoder which allows HDCDs to show off their superior sounds. Built-in Dolby Digital decoding offers DD 5.1 clarity even if one only has a Dolby Digital "ready" receiver.FEATURES: As mentioned above, the SD5109 has progressive scan outputs and HDCD decoding. Beyond this, it has interlaced component outs as well as S-Video and regular Composite outs. Two trays make a double-feature easy while the on-screen menus are easy to navigate. The remote is simple enough to use so most features can be operated at the start. I do wish they had included an EJECT button on the remote.Overall, this was a wise purchase for my DTV set. The progressive scan makes an incredible difference. Do shop around because these can be had for MUCH less than the high MSRP 8-). I also recommend readjusting your TV settings with AVIA, Video Essentials, or a professional because unoptimized settings could cause the SD5109's picture to be not as spectacular as it is capable. ULTIMATE ACCESSORY KIT FOR OLYMPUS SP-310 SP-350 SP-500 Review

First off let me start out by saying I gave this 3 stars but that does not include everything.

Lenses: They work but don't expect real sharp images.

Filters: These work great, I use them all the time.

Batteries and charger: work great and last a lot longer than normal batteries.

XD Card: Was really happy that it was an actual Olympus card and works great.

XD Card reader: Works great.

Camera Bag: Great little bag and holds everything.

Tripod: one of the adjuster screws was stripped right out of the box and is basically worthless, though the little tripod works like it should.

Cleaning kit: Cheap little kit but is a nice thing to have in the bag.

I pretty much bought the kit for the batteries and the XD card and was happy it came with other things. If you went out and bought a charger, batteries, an XD card and reader you would be close to the price of this kit anyway.
