This monitor has one of the most crisp and color accurate displays I've seen. As a Mac user and graphic designer, I am pretty picky about the monitors I use, and eyestrain can be a real issue. No complaints with this 27'' LED monitor. I am loving the vivid colors and anti-glare screen. And yes, it really is Mac compatible. Just a simple adaptor and I was off and running. This is probably one of the best kept secrets for designers. I urge you to give this monitor a try and see if you don't agree that it's every bit as good as a Mac monitor, without the inflated price tag.

Pro Co MS-42A Review

Great splitter, a workhorse that has been in my system for over a decade with no problems. Rack up a bunch with loose rack rails to create a modular stage box. I bought eight of these in 1996 and have trucked them around for lots of recording gigs. No repairs or issues. Don't drop them on your toe, though. Busted my big toe and it hurt like a mofo but the MS42a came out unscathed.

I own two P2s in my chevy aveo home made ported box. They hit and hit Hard!! but dont buy them for this price this sub should be no more than $80 NEW!! but with that said these subs are well worth the price and will add awesome bass to your system. oh and they can take a beating I had a wild screw driver accident with one piercing the surround. However with some rubber glue and epoxy the sub couldnt be better.Hats off to Rockford Fosgate for an awesome product!!

I PURCHASED THIS MACHINE TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO WRITING THIS REVIEW AND SO FAR I AM VERY HAPPY. I WANTED TO BE ABLE TO RECORD MY OLD VHS TO DVD AND IT WORKED VERY WELL. Sharp CD-XP500 300-Watt Compact Stereo System Review

After searching high and low for a new stereo system, I finally settled on this one. I don't know anything about the technical specs, but I knew that this had nearly twice as many watts as an Aiwa for the same price. My RCA served me well for the last 3-4 years and needed replacing because the CD player developed a problem of not reading the discs properly. I'd load up the carousel with five CD's and then it would do the inital scan for disc length and such and then show "NO DISC." So I got this one. The blue backlit display is what really sold it for me.A few problems with it though. With the RCA, i could press the disc skip button five times and it would spin all the way around without stopping. With the Sharp, if you pressed it numerous times, it would turn to the next disc, stop for a few seconds, then you'd have to press it again. This works the same with all functions, i.e. you can't go right through all your presets by holding down the buttons. Another problem that I had was that the clock wouldn't be on a permanent display when the system is off, and there was no light on the power button. These might be small things to some, but I've grown accustomed to them with the RCA.As for sound quality, the RCA can't really compare in clarity. Both have good base, but the RCA always seemed to have a hiss to it, no matter what was playing. Sharp and many other companies probably don't have problems with this though. The 32-inch 32F630 offers not only Sharp's elegant X-Flat cabinet design, but a flat picture tube, which not only looks cool compared to a conventional, bulbous screen, but also provides a high-quality, high-contrast picture--partly owing to the screen's ability to reduce reflected ambient light, but also due to Sharp's contrast enhancer and velocity-modulation scan technology. A great feature called V-compression even lets you view widescreen (letterboxed) DVDs in their native aspect ratio, in full resolution--none of the set's abilities are wasted in rendering the black bars necessary to display a movie in its original aspect ratio.

Velocity-modulation scan improves the definition at picture edges, creating sharper images by slowing the CRT (cathode-ray tube) beam's horizontal scanning during demanding work--say, when rendering transitions from light to dark parts of an image--and speeding it up when scanning easily rendered sections, like broad dark areas. The 32F630's three-line comb filter further enhances resolution by removing blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped t-shirt).

The set provides stereo audio (with five watts per channel) from broadcast programming via Multi-channel Television Sound (MTS), which permits broadcasters to encode stereo audio within the video portion of TV programming signals. EquiSound keeps differing program levels from blaring out at you.

A component-video input grants optimum connection with a compatible DVD player, while standard composite- and S-video inputs accommodate all DVD players. You can choose between a set of rear AV inputs and a set of front AV inputs (tasteful hidden when not in use) for extra convenience. A rear audio output lets you hook the set up with a surround receiver; you can choose a fixed- or variable-level output (variable lets you adjust the volume through the TV's remote).

If you don't have a six-channel speaker setup for DVD audio, you can still make every movie night the ultimate experience: SRS TruSurround simulates surround sound through two speakers (even the stereo speakers on your TV). The set also features a trilingual onscreen display (English, Spanish, French), ID labeling for channels and inputs, closed-caption display, V-Chip parental control, a sleep timer, and a universal remote control.

Sharp X-Flat 32F630 Flat-Screen 32" TV Review

I bought this television a few months ago and I must say that it was worth every penny. The picture is sharp and clear and the 16:9 pulldown is awesome. It really makes a difference when you're watching widescreen movies. You do really need to use the composite input to appreciate the picture quality of the TV, though. Overall its a great buy for those who love movies but don't want to dish out too much money.
