The District 30 is a waterproof full-featured Roll-Top/ Messenger Backpack with enough room for your daily commute and a trip to the grocery store on your way home. The quadruple access front organizer pockets are protected by a Storm-proof Flap. Two separate zippered pockets keep your gear organized. The bottom pocket can be accessed via a vertical side zip without opening the flap. A large flat panel pocket with a side zippered access gives you easy access to your U-Lock or iPad, without opening the flap. Lash points on the side panels give the option of adding different accessory pockets and/ or water-bottle holder. Dual blinker mounts and multiple points to attach reflective strips and patches keep you visible at night. Eighteen months ago I added bike and/or bus riding as an option for my almost 50 mile round trip commute. I recently purchased a Velo Transit "The District 30" to replace a hodgepodge of multi-purpose backpacks and "corporate issue" laptop bags. In the few months I have had this pack it has already seen it's share of daily use, rain or shine, and hasn't let me down. It stays secure and comfortable riding a bike or walking. Everything inside stays dry. I was a bit skeptical of dealing with the strap-secured fold-down top having used zipper packs and bags "forever", but that concern disappeared quickly. The folding top and straps are easy to operate and keep my gear as snug as needed.

It looks professional (I opted for the all-black model) enough in the office and fits everything I need. I typically carry a standard size (15") laptop, a notebook and lunch with plenty of room left. I can easily add a change of non-wrinkling clothes, if necessary (extra shoes stored at the office). The extra zipper pouch under the main flap keeps small items secure (even when I have left the pouch unzipped on occasion). There is a very handy lower pouch with a side zipper for access when the main flap is closed which I have found is a great place for small umbrella for those rare occasions when is rains in the Northwest. If you need to carry a laptop spring for the internal laptop pouch. I also have the phone pocket that fits on the shoulder strap for easy access to bus pass and building access cards.

I did find the straps too long for my preference and made a quick stop at the Velo Transit store where they quickly cut and finished the straps to my preference. So not only a great product but excellent service.

Invest in "Made in the USA" quality... These packs, and the company, won't let you down.

Sony TC-WE625 Dual Cassette Deck Review

I recently bought this cassette deck and learned of all the options and functions of it. You can program up to 28 tracks to play in any order you want. Has Dolby B,C which reduces unwanted noise. Looks great too! I recommend this tape deck to all. Sound is not very different from CDs when I use this deck.

Bower SLY8VDSE Ultra-Wide 8mm T3.8 Digital Fisheye Cine Lens for Sony E (NEX) Camera Review

Ok I'm sure a lot of you are wondering is this the same as the Rokinon 8mm Cine Fisheye. My answer is yes. They are both under the brand "Samyang". My friend has the Rokinon 8mm cine Fisheye for his Canon t4i. It seemed like a great lens and I been wanting a Fisheye, I had a hard time finding a used one for my Sony A65(Since I buy my lenses used) until I found the bower brand. I got it a couple weeks ago and I love it. The Images are sharp, great color and it has pretty nice build quality even though its plastic. Pretty much every thing in the lens is in focus all the time( I leave mine on infinity)and it has great distortion and the Focus and De-cliked Aperture ring are very smooth and quiet.When I did compare it to my friends I noticed there were a couple LITTLE differences between my Bower and his Rokinon,First mine has a removable lens hood, his doesn't, secondly my glass is a bit larger. Now I think the reason for these differences are his is the cs1 and mine is the cs2 which is a bit newer. In the end of the day the Samyang,Bower,Rokinon are all the same ,just get what ever one you find cheapest. They are one of the best lenses you can buy for the money, and are highly recommended!

I have never had a problem with my Dell Studio 540, still runs all the latest games with a decent FPS when you adjust the settings appropriately. Boots up in about 15 seconds and still gives more modern PCs a run for their money. An example to use, i play League of Legends on this computer and get 50-60 fps with medium settings and around 30 with the High settings. Built in internet and RAM allow a noticeable increase in speed and performance. For a 5 year old item (most getting outdated after only 3 years) the Dell Studio will still give you a run for you'r money.

I'm a lazy diver. Some say I should have died a long time ago. I don't check my gauges. I don't pay attention to dive tables. I don't secure my light very well. I drag it across rocks at the bottom of rivers, across the deck while I drag my BC, across the sandy bottom of the Florida ocean, and across countless miles of coral. I've replaced tons of lights before for leaking, cracks, and just simply they died. This light has held up to an unbelievable amount of abuse. I've never replaced the o ring either. Salt water, fresh water, muddy water, and even mud once! lol. That's a whole different story though. This light produces variable amounts of light based upon what is needed which is essential when you are diving in such varied conditions like me.
